In general how much anatomy is covered on level 3 complementary therapy courses, such as body massage, reflexology, sports massage etc?

Do you think there is enough taught?

No-where near enough.

To me, it is basic secondary school level.

If we want to be taken seriously as therapists by other disciplines we need to become better informed not just about anatomy and physiology but pathophysiology ( a different level altogether).

Hi Patchouli,
thanks for your reply. I dont know if its just me, or if A&P is getting a little dumbed down on courses?

had an experience this week where a group of students already at level 3 could not name the hamstring group individually. 😡
perhaps it is something to do with the level/standard of teaching ?

bums on seats funding, results and retention means that it is not in colleges best interests to kick off students who are not achieving.
