HI there. I am after some advice about which Bach Flower Essence is the best for Jealousy (not envy) but Jealousy and possessiveness! Is it Willow or Holly?

Hi Purplepeace11, Holly works best for jealousy. Willow is more about resentment, finding life cruel...or feeling victimized. 🙂

Ravenstar, have you used Bach remedies with success? I had a friend who swore by them but I never tried them.

Hi StormJewel,:grouphug:

Yes I have and I really believe in them. 🙂 When I was introduced to the Back Flowers back in the early 90's, they fascinated me....and I've used them in conjunction with other modes of healing.....in fact I used to teach them. I've used them for myself and for others. They've acted as a catalyst for me...in an inward way.....they've helped to give me strength and courage to see me as I really am, creating a subtle shift in my energy field and and shifting my perceptions. If you'd like to try the Bach Flowers or feel they would be of benefit to you, you could intuitively and spontaneously pick a bottle or two from your local health store and try them. I'd be happy to try and answer any questions you have and I'm sure others will share their stories too. 🙂

Thanks for sharing your experience Ravenstar, I'm really intrigued now so will do as you suggest when I have some money for it.

Have you ever heard of tree essences? I learnt about them in a tree energy workshop that uses the Ogham (old celtic) alphabet runes and meanings. You can use them to work through various issues or self growth.

I picked out willow and made a pendant with a bit of it, and was given willow tree essence to drink. I forget the meanings of willow now, to do with intuition and so on but seemed very appropriate for the time when I got it.

Hi StormJewel,

I'm not too familiar with tree essences though I've studied a bit about the runes :). I do know that Willow has to do with flexibility, and as you say intuition, clairvoyance and healing.

In Ted Andrews book Nature-Speak, he mentions the Willow...

"Willow alerts us to new opportunities to learn and explore. It encourages a flexibility of thought, and its energies. Willow is associated with an awakening of the feminine energies, of going into the darkness of the womb and activating greater expression of them. Its spirit opens "night" vision, or vision of that which has always been hidden or obscured. It reminds us to use the rhythms of the Moon to look for dream messages of importance. Willow always stimulates great dream activity. And her message always involves learning to trust our inner visions."

Nice!!! :FIFangel:

Thanks for sharing the meaning of that Ravenstar, that was really lovely! The girl teaching the tree energy class was working round each ogham symbol (and therefore each tree on the Ogham wheel) one by one in order, using each tree to help her in different areas of her life.

She said she tried it many times and it didn't take, but after big upheavals in her life it seems like this was the time, as finally she was able to complete each part.
