What are some of the Feng Shui tips for folks trying to conceive? I've heard the one about not sweeping under the bed and the one about placing a blue tile in the center of the bedroom. Are there other tips for a baby-making-friendly bedroom?

I am not pulling anybody's legs here fleur, I feel it is a fair question to ask.
The question is indeed a fair one barefootamy...it was the tips you were presenting that baffled me....
As far as I am aware, clutter clearing and good energy circulation is one of the staples of Feng Shui practice. I just fail to see that leaving dust deliberately under a bed by not sweeping it promotes good feng shui practice!
You could try a pair of rose quartz items, eg. candle holders, or photos/painting of pairs of things you both like. A splash of red somewhere as colour therapy for passion.

In San Yuan Feng Shui we link all changes made in the house with the astrological chart of the people living in (called Ba zI). For each person their individual chart shows a very specific area in the house that should not be disturbed by loud noise, moving door etc. otherwise it brings problems related to conceiving.
Otherwise the bed is also a symbol of the sexual organs, and having it to cluttered is not helping. A bed placed under a beam that seems to split the body at belly level is also bringing difficulties in conception.
Last but not least sometimes the chart shows difficulty in conception linked to the karma of the person.
