Can you help me - I would like to start a new business - I am a Massage therapist, aromatherapist and Reflexologist. I would like to open my own premises in time, I am mobile at the moment.
I was wondering if you know which colours are good - I read somewhere purple and gold are good colours for business cards.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I understand what you mean by purple and gold - they do stand out.
But green and blue are colours often associated with health, especially natural health practices.
A business card should be made of good quality card, clear and concise with the following bits of information:
1. Who are you (with letters after your name)
2. What you do (Aroma/Reflex/Massage)
3. How to get hold of you (Tel/Email/Website/Clinic)
Other bits of info are unnecessary.

I was thinking purple...cos its mystical colour...but then in Feng Shui I have read green and red are good for business...

I think sometimes when a eastern system comes into the west, there can be cultural differences. Feng Shui is no exception.
I think your first idea is better and go for purple.

Purple sounds good to me..the astrological lik is good.
You can have stationary with purple hilights, and the room can have purple hilights (not all purple i would hope:cool:), and any silver/stainless trims would be good such as the trolleys etc. Any certificates you have would be good with silver frames? Purple accents in Feng shui terms would be excellent in the south/reputation area..good luck!!
