RE: feng shui and study

I can tell you everything you'll need to know, but I am not being sarcastic or funny when I say I need to know your birth date and gender, so that I can look up the "trigram" chart to establish which trigram you belong to. I can then specify the best directions that will apply to your study...

If you do not wish to disclose it publicly, send me a PM and I shall start from there. Failing that I will work out a way of disclosing all the information to you, so that you can work it out yourself...[sm=1syellow1.gif]

Your Trigram is "Ken"
According to the 8 Life Aspirations, education and knowledge is located in the Northeast section. The element of Northeast is Earth and the color is beige. In this section of your house display some symbols representing the Earth element, such as pottery, porcelain and clay items.

For your study the best location in the house is an area in the Northesat (NE) corner. If you do not have a room or free space in that part of the house then use the nearest available area or room. Quartz crystals are strong attractors of the Earth element, so place some on a decorative table in the NE corner of the room you are using.

Your study table and chair should be arranges so that your back is facing SW and you are facing Northeast (NE). Sleep with your head pointing towards Northeast (NE). You must avoid at all times facing or sleeping with your head towards South (S), East (E), North (N) and Southeast (SE).

Do not sleep or study in a room located above a garage or below a toilet. This will cause his your mind to wander and distract your studies.

Your favourite directions mentionad above need not be exact and there is 20 degrees allowance in each direction. For example facing NE (NE=45 degrees) can mean facing towards anywhere between 25 and 65 degrees.

You can purchase a small compass for few pounds from any camping hardware shop. When looking up directions using a magnetic compass, make sure there are no metal objects nearby to deflect the needle direction - place it on a table or chair away from metal objects before reading. Assuming you are not familiar with using a compass - see below:

The compass needle always points towards North (N). When you place the compass on a table or a chair, rotate it until the neadle head is pointing towards the letter N. Starting from there, you will be able to see which way the other directions lie, by looking at their positions relative to (N). So if you are facing the compass needle direction (N) your back is now facing South (S), your right hand will be Esat (E), and left hand will be West (W). The direction that are half-way between N & E, is NE; half way between S & W will indicate SW, half way between N & W will indicate NW and half way between S & E will indicate SE. The 20 degrees allowance mentioned before, will be the area just under half of the distance to the next direction on both sides. This is assuming you buy a compass that indicates the main 8 directions: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW.

If you have any further problems please let me know. Good luck...
