It's difficult enough finding a house you like and can afford. As far as feng shui goes, are there general guidelines one should look for when buying or is it better to buy the house, then hire a feng shui expert to prescribe any 'corrections' if needed?
RE: Feng shui and house hunting
Indeed, No Patterns. Not the ideal world we live in these days. The best thing really is to learn some basic feng shui yourself. You don't have to become an expert or become a practitioner, but if you have the basic knowledge, it might help and you can also judge for yourself if your feng shui expert talking non-sense or not (it happens very often nowadays I am afraid). Sometimes, from the events happened to the current residents, you might be able to tell a certain bit of feng shui of the house (not much on health). However, we have just stepped into period 8 two days ago for the next twenty years, there is even less you can tell from their lives. It is better to find the right house first instead of curing afterward. Sometimes, you might not be able to change things. i.e. buildings, roads, mountains or rivers. You can't really move them but they do have a significant impact to the feng shui of your house. I think there are some people offering this services these days. Where do you live?
