Hi y'all! Been a while since I posted. Have been puzzling over these questions for a bit and thought that if anyone could help it would be you guys!
I live in a shared house so only have my bedroom to apply the principles of feng shui to. I have a lot of immovable furniture in the room i.e bed and fitted wardrobes. Now unfortunately I was under the impression that the north east corner of a room was love and romance, and the north west wealth and abundance and because they're easily accessible corners have made sure they contain the recommended crystals, plants etc. However I have since read that infact it's the south west for love and the south east for wealth! Two corners which are not easily accessible (the doorway in one, fitted cupboards then a gap in the other). I also read in the same article that it was a bad idea for love to have your bed directly facing the door, as your own personal energy would flow straight out of said door.
I realise this is a complex subject and I've only been trying ideas on a basic level. I've read various books, some good, mostly bad. I work in a library so have access to a great database if someone could recommend a title, but obviously these books won't directly answer my questions.
I don't or didn't take feng shui particlarly seriously, but the thing about the bed really got to me (I don't have room to put a bookshelf there as the article suggested!).
Hope I've explained it okay. Thanks for reading! I know it's a big ask 🙂
Love to all,
Angie

Hi Angie
A book I found explained in a clear and concise manner what each corner of a space represent is:
"Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui" by Karen Kingston.
Not only she explains why clutter is not a good idea but also talks a lot about Feng Shui placements. It is a very easily readable book.
All the Best

looking at your new sectors associated with wealth (s.e) and love (sw), you have begun to work with a different school.
When I started to work with this same school, I had to change my associations and enhancements tec.
Google red lotus kathryn weber..she has some excellent articles on her website /newsletter that are aligned with these placements
Karen Kington uses a different bagua.
I prefer Kathryun these days...and one of her teachers is Lilian Too

Thank you both so much! Will look up these authors and see if I can get my hands on their books. Have just finished spring cleaning my room - clearing old clothes, books etc. but I have to use every bit of space in that room to the maximum. Praps I could get rid of more..... clutter clearing is quite addictive I think!
Dear Angie-
I do the odd consultation and would like to help you, if I can.
To start with: when you're lying in bed you should have the window to one side and the door to the other, in a way that chi can flow past the foot of your bed from the door out of the window, without having to 'jump' over the bed.
Are you in this situation?
Leigh
I've sent you a PM
