Doing my practisioner EFT course this weekend and really looking forward to it 😀
Hi Star
That's great 🙂 How exciting for you - enjoy!
Fx
Hope you have a nice time xxx
I am sure you'll find it fascinating - hope it is all you hoped it to be! Enjoy!!
It was a brill. day,I was a demo for some of it and cleared an issue which was ongoing for a long time, the amazing thing is that I feel my stomach is so different,so light and free and my clothes are looser, even the course tutor commented on how different I looked, its amazing how negative energy has such an impact.Tomorrow we will deal with Physical issues, and am really looking forward to it.I am absolutely drained so an early night and lots of water 🙂
Fantastic, that sounds like a great training experience! Hope tomorrow is as good and even better.
I am actually teaching a practitioner course in Manchester this weekend, and it's been a great day for us too 🙂 Most of the jobs I've done over the years I was able to stay with for not more than 3 years or so - my feet tend to get itchy after that and I move on onto doing something different - but I've been doing EFT for some years now, and never get bored with it, it always brings wonderful surprises and healing / learning experiences for me, my clients and my students.
Have fun with it,
Masha
Sounds great, Star - it's good to take something with you to address in class.
Like you, Masha, I've been doing EFT for years and am constantly surprised at the wonderful results, both for myself and my clients.
Star - sleep well and let us know how you get on tomorrow.

I have been using it myself with great results but Ive realised that sometimes I was not getting to all the 'aspects' and I have to clear my own issues first before I can help others. What I find amazing is how different I FEEL now,its like a totally different person, its a freedom,I can see more clearly,it is definitely my favourite therapy. Our exams are in 2 weeks time and are sent to the UK,also case studies to work on.
I will post tomorrow on the events,Im really looking forward to it 🙂
You will, as you mirror your clients, be borrowing benefits and you'll be surprised how clear and energised you feel after working with someone else in a client/therapist situation. But you're absolutely right - working on yourself is, imo, key.
Are you doing an online course, Star?

No its hands on coerdelion, there is only 6 in the group which is nice 🙂
Yes, it's good to have a decent sized class. How did yesterday go? Do you feel ready to take clients yet?
Reason I asked what kind of class it was is that you said they're sending the tests from the States? You doing Cert 1 or AAMET?

Yesterday was very good,we did phone work, setting up a business.using different techniques etc,it really was intence as today I was really whacked and I think the solstice was playing its part too.I thought I had been doing well on level one but sometimes I was way of the core issues, and prob. not persevering enough.
I live in Ireland and yes its with the AAMET.
That's just practice, Star, the core issue thing. Was reviewing one of the DVDs the other day with Gary Craig demonstrating just that with a lady called Baerbel? Even he had problems finding the core issue, so you're not alone!
In the end he had to go back to basics, with individual specific events, tapping away at them, using the Movie Technique.
You'll do great 🙂

I am looking forward to the case studys as this will give me insight,I am also very intuitive but I can take on other peoples stuff so have to ground myself more,a lady yesterday was working on another with shoulder ache and I was there with similar stuff,I had to laugh as I was working on someone with an emotional issue and I was tapping with her, after a few rounds I had tapped the issue out of my mind and could not remember what it was,as a therapist that wouldnt be very smart,I would be a little nervous for a while but am so looking forward to working with this therapy which is nothing short of miraculous.
I was tapping with someone today on her name - nearly tapped myself into her name, too! Lol!
I think one of the great joys of EFT is that as we work with others we are also working on ourselves. The "working through, not by" approach is a very valuable one and your intuition will be useful when you're working with someone on an issue they can't get a handle on - just say whatever ocurrs to you and ask if that lands for them. Because you're tapping on yourself at the same time, you won't be picking up their issues - or at least that's what works for me.
It's just practice and working on your own stuff too. The confidence will come - particularly if you tap on it!

Im also wondering how I would charge by phone?,I am setting up skype again and not sure how I would go about this,do you have any phone clients?
Paypal is your friend, Star - you can set up a button on your site very easily, or ask people to send through paypal by email. All you need is an account. The do take a small amount off for the service, but the advantages far outway the drawbacks.
Fx
Thats great Fiona thanks for that 🙂

I have quite a few telephone EFT clients, including some abroad - PayPal is very convenient indeed, other options include direct bank transfer, and I also accept cheques from the UK clients (I tend not to demand payment in advance, clients can pay after the session - I have not had any problems with this, and I think my trust in them pays off during the therapy).
