Over the last week I have started using ear plugs when I go to bed because the neighbours upstairsare very noisy.Sometimes when I insert the ear plug after a few minutes I can feel a pulsing sensation in my ear which is also preventing me from going to sleep!!
Cananyone explain why I get this pulsing sensation (only sometimes) in my ear and how I can avoid it....because I want to get some sleep!!!
A very sleepy nk!
RE: Pulsing sensation in the ears
Hi nk,
Chances are you are hearing your own blood pulse - ear plugs mean that the auditory nerve picks up the bodys own internal noises louder.
I would speak to your neighbours, don't you have some community agreement on noise?
Good luck

RE: Pulsing sensation in the ears
Hi Funnybunny,
Thanks for that. So in short the pulsing sensation is a good thing and not something I should avoid/try to stop!
You're right...I will try a bunch of flowers and a coffee with the neighbours.
