One of my family members is in poor health and in need of a nutritional boost. Here's the dilemma, she has a problem swallowing tablets and always has done. So can't tackle a decent multivitamin as she in truth needs.
I know about Complan and Berocca and so forth, not ideal. (The vitamins seem to be chemically derived.)
Can anyone personally recommend either a natural alternative - or a micro sized multivitamin?

Thank you.

Hi Mountaineer

I've had a quick scout for a liquid formulas that was available, but it is are no longer on sale. I have some suggestions though

1. There is this formula, excellent quality product but it is low dosage of vitamins and minerals, so more than one might need consuming daily to reach a therapeutic dose.

2. This formula makes into a drink - there are other similar ones by the same firm, excellent quality.

3. Buy capsules (see ) and empty them out into a sandwich or put into a home-made smoothie. They don't taste too good, but a strong flavour will get over that. Mixing with jam on a spoon like we used to do for the children is another way of getting them down.

3. Also [DLMURL="http://www.chemistdirect.co.uk/floradix_7_4932.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=floradix&utm_campaign=Brands+%7C+Vitamins&utm_content=sv0bdl1yU|dc_pcrid_13884217644_kword_floradix_match_e_plid_"]these[/DLMURL] are possible

It depends on what is wrong, which vitamins and minerals are lacking as to which to go for. A registered Nutritional Therapist will be able to determine what to choose much better than 2nd/3rd hand!

Perhaps the himalayan salt is a good bet also .

Just dissolve in an a glass of water and perhaps add with a little cider vinegar .

As many know the pink salt contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements found in the human body .

I agree Himalayan salt is a wonderful source of minerals but it doesn't contain any vitamins as far as I know - vitamins come from living foods. I use it sparingly on food. In crystal form the energy feels wonderful and gentle.

It is then best to use a vitamin formula separately, as they all work as a team.

Maybe[DLMURL="http://nutraland.co.uk/algae-afa/"] blue - green Algae AFA[/DLMURL] are a good choice to boost an immune system. They contain many vitamins and minerals and are organic. These algae are rich in nutrients. They are gathered from the water of Klamath lake. The lake is filled from rivers , which carries volcanic ash rich in minerals. This is the reason these algae are so rich in organic nutrients.

You can read the book "Miracle superfood" written by Gillian Mckeith Ph.D, to get more information.
