hi,

i am wanting to do a lung detox, and probably liver as well. i have done some research to find out what herbal products are out there, but it looks like i may have to get stuff sent from the US (i found a company called Blessed Herbs that will ship to the UK, though of course it costs...).

just wondered if anyone has any suggestions or experience about doing these cleanses. i also thought chinese herbal medicine could be a good way to go, but so far didn't find any info on that.

any info appreciated.
thanks Jill

Rather than self-medicating, why not see a qualified TCM practitioner who could help you?

I don't know about a sepcific "lung" detox, though there is the "liver flush" or "gall bladder flush", which involves drinking 2 cups of olive oil.

A pleasant way to do this is to squeze 2 lemons into the olive oils, and take 2 table spoons every 15 mins or so till it runs out.

Personally, I believe that if you want to detox, then do it properly. In my experience the best way to do this is to do a 7 Day cleanse program. This detoxifies ALL the organs of the body, cleans the blood, lumph and other body fluids and removes all sorts of junk that builds up in the colon. A 7 Day detox cleanse program will do more for your body then you can imagine.

Activated mineceuticals!!!!

I have tried a detox supplement that blew my mind! I seriously tried a lot and i use to do bodybuilding competitions and honestly when i tried this one, i was very pleased with the results. It's called "Activated Mineceuticals". I was doing research on it before hand and a lot of spas use a bentonite clay for baths and facials and other uses. Well, from what I found out is that this detox clay product is a K-Rectorite clay which is similar to the bentonite, but is a blue clay rather than red. Doesn't give that dry feeling after a bath in it and there are also capsules to use for internal detoxing. The 1 pound is for internal and topical use. I use it for my acid reflux. It's AWESOME! personally i think EVERYONE should use it! helps weight loss, it attracts metals, bacteria, and toxins and honestly so much more. I feel great! Seriously check it out! WHAT AMAZES ME IS WHAT IT DOES FOR YOUR INSIDES AND NOT ON THE TOILET LIKE OTHERS!!!LOL
