Hi, I was given a silverleaf jasper in like a cage I guess one would call it (a spiral but it doesn't open to remove it). Can anyone tell me about silverleaf jasper, the positives and hopefully no negatives. Its done to wear as a pendant.

Secondly if crystals are in cages that don't open can you charge them the same way as regular crystals, I sometimes charge crystals when I do self Reiki but have also got an amethyst bed

Also i recently got a lapis something or other and the name has escaped me!! Am I right in thinking that shouldn't go near water? The one one I got was an Aventurine (is that one to be cleansed with water).

When I did a crystal healing begineers workshop the manual states that you can cleanse and charge by using Reiki, but I think its good to try out other things.

Lets hope unlike last night I don't have a load of spelling errors creating new words!!!! lol

thanks

I can't help you with "Silverleaf Jasper" (there's a new name invented for Jaspers every minute...) but in reference to the cleansing thing - you might find this useful:

It at least explains why there's so much nonsense believed about cleansing stones - but you have to read it all to fully 'get' the concepts...
