No you're not a nutter! 😀

I always follow my instincts, and sometimes it's the occasion that drives the instinct, sometimes it's the crystal. So for instance, some stones I feel instinctively that I want to hold them in a closed fist (strangely enoug, garnet comes to mind!), some I just want to rest in my palm (typically amethyst, rose quartz, citrine). As for occasion, when I'm meditating with a stone I usually want to just let it rest in my palm, but when I have a stone in my pocket that I feel the need to hold, I often want tohold it in a closedhand, and it would often be impractical to hold it in the palm of my hand.

I just think the best thing with crystals is to tune into them, let them "talk" to you, and follow your instinct on how to work with them.

I agree with Amber - first that you are not a nutter ;)and also that you let your intutition guide you when it comes to working with crystals. It's amazing how you can just let go and do the right thing. I believe the crystal energy is so powerful that we can just sense it very easily!

I find that each crystal wants to be held a different way. Some of them neatly fit into the palm and seem glued, others want gentle fingertip touch and some mix both, turing the stone one way and then the other changes the energy and use.

So no, not a nutter,..... unless we all are? hmmm..........
