I have posted my question on 2 other forums and did not get any feedback so I am realy hoping the third time is the charm.
I have gained my certificates and I choose a room at my house, but suddenly plans have changed and the room will be used for something als at the moment. So I was thinking realy hard what to do. I have my massage bed that I can go around with and I waas thinking if I would do crystal therapy at clients home?
I have searched the web and have found no info on this kind of service, so I am wondering if anyone is doing this and if they could help me out with experiences. I have questions on how to realy start.
I have had all visualized how things would go at my place...the talk with the costumer, how to relax the costumer, how the space would be made to make the costumer help to come into the zone i want her in....so this change has realy upset me, but I realy have no choice at the moment. I have spent lots of money on my education and still paying for university and I am not able to rent space.
Also I have placed the crystal around the room to secure the energy and have done meditations in it to create the right energy I want. Going to the costumer space makes things more difficult for me. I see problems with space:
- does the costumer have a room big anough for the massage bed (its not that small when you open it)
- i need to put crystal around the room to secure the energy first ( at this point i am very much afraid if I encounter some realy bad energy at costumer`s place will my jewerly be anough to protect me from it?Cause lets be honest you do not know what you are stepping in when you go at their place, maybe there is a huge problem and when the costumer comes at your center/room at home, the problem stays at home and she/he is able to reach new levels of conciousness.)
I also do not know if costumers would be interested in crystal therapy at home, although it can be more personal, because they are probably also afraid of you coming in ( a stranger at their house), so the communication and first impressions are realy important. I am super nice person and I understand people very much ( I am a good observer) and I am not afraid of not being able to calm costumers down and make them trust me. I am afraid because sometimes I miss the signs of evilness in people and I am afraid to get hurt. (thinking of a situation that someone would want me to come and do the therapy but they would have other real bad intentions that would be revelaed once I was at the house and maybe I would not be able to get out.).
I assume going door to door is harder than the costumer coming to you, cause you gotta collect all the crystals ( sometimes you need just the one you do not have with you) and than you gotta carry it all to the costumer. The logistics are unsolved problem. I do not know how to carry crystal safe and sound back and forth and the massage bed is preety hard to carry too.
Finally the pricing...I do not know how much to price...Is it less or more the fact that I am coming to their home? What about gas? I have moved out of the city and it takes me around 40minutes to get there so I would put more costumers on one day so I would not travel every day back and forth for one costumer.
At the end I have a huge problem how to market it this kind of service. This is preety new at my country so I am definitly a Starter and starters always have to climb more mountains than the ones behind you. I mean we have crystal shops and people love it, but crystal therapy they do not know much about. People ask me what do you do and I try to explain in short sentences but I always end up talking 20 minutes with no real effect (at least that is how i feel and i see they are confused). I just wanna tell the basic things and basic filosofy of how the crystals effect the body mind and spirit.
HELP ME!
Love and light,
Lara
Hello Lara,
Firstly, I am new to this forum and this is my first post.....but felt so compelled to reply.....so here goes.....
I am not a Crystal Healer but I have paid on numerous occasions for Shamanic Crystal Healing work in a therapist's house. I am also Advanced Reiki Trained so have an appreciation of a variety of holistic therapies. I also felt compelled to respond to this post as I am a self employed practitioner in another field and I do domiciliary (home visits/goes door to door), my area is foot care - so have experience of building a 'door to door'/home visits business!
You have obviously already put a lot of energy and amazing work into this idea and I would practice anytime you feel a bit like 'how is this going to work', appreciate your wonderful soul, energy and that you are cultivating a wondrous idea (give it some positive thinking :-)). Visualise this as a success 🙂
Protection for you and your client is always important and you have given due consideration and attention - remembering that 'intent' also has a huge amount to do with whatever you do, so simply by your intent of:
'I am super nice person and I understand people very much ( I am a good observer) and I am not afraid of not being able to calm costumers down and make them trust me.'
Do not fear evil, draw on protection and love and kindness. Are you Reiki Trained? If so, do Hat-su-rei-ho before treatments.
If you are not Reiki trained, imagine a bubble and being safe in that space also for your client to (obviously a separate bubble for them). Your intent is everything!!!! Love, protection and only a healing experience are paramount. Remembering you are a channel and that your own energy should not be depleted during the process. Get your ego out of the way and be safe in the knowledge you are held in love when you carry out treatments.
Door-to-door is a challenge (particularly for me) I have a number of heavy bags I turn up with, but where there is a will there is always a way. As for crystals ensure you have a suitable basket or box or even a bag which you protect with love to carry them in. My Shamanic Crystal Therapist always use to select the crystals before I arrived at her house by asking what does my client need. Prepare beforehand with a quiet 5-10 minutes of mediation with the crystals your next client needs? OR if you are seeing a number that day take time to consider each individual before you head out for the day.
Also consider getting a stock of crystals which you carry in a plastic set of drawers in your car, as I am certain clients will wish to purchase crystals that benefit them - so to have a stock wouldn't be an extra way to help your clients and make a bit more money.
Pricing wise - consider what a massage therapist in the local area might charge and base it at a similar price to that. Consider the time you are spending with the individual - I would say £30+ if you are spending over an hour with them (but all relative depending on where you live). You have already thought to have more than one client in a location to make it viable if you have to travel 40 mins or more.
As for advertising and marketing yourself. Start with Facebook (it is free) and put some consideration on how to word the benefits (such as the talks you have given to people already), I use WordPress for my website which is free as well? From here, consider getting some posters done and put up in village shops and business cards. I would also suggest going to village fairs (or if you have any Mind Body Spirit Fairs) and have a stand with Crystals there. Also advertise in the crystal shops!!!
A few other considerations are being a member of recognised therapy body such as the Federation of Holistic Therapists, provides reassurance to prospective clients that you are reputable. Also, insurance - public liability? And Car insurance - if using your vehicle to get to your clients, ensure your car insurance is covered for Business use.
What I have learned from setting up my own 'door to door'/home visit based business is that you need to keep faith and belief in yourself, don't listen to naysayers!! It's not easy being self-employed and building up a business. But your soul will shine through and the service and word of mouth......advertise locally and talk to other therapists (Reiki practitioners or similar) and get advice from them as well on how to get your business out there.
Have belief in yourself!!! Also, have plenty of citrine and sunstone around for abundance and confidence!!! Keep positive, know you can achieve this and will!!
Visualise your client base 🙂
Hope this helps in some way!!
Believe in yourself Lara.....you will get there!!!!
With love, light and the very best wishes,
Becca 🙂 xxxxx
I am very GRATEFULL for your contribution to my PATH.
I THANK YOU from my HEART.

One of the problems with a 'protective bubble' is that (and this increases the more effective you are) you can stop anything, including healing, getting through it. I teach shamanism (NOT 'shamanic crystal healing' - which is made up) and - despite my instructions - there have been a few beginners who will put themselves inside a 'protective bubble' or ' 'blue protective light'. And then they can't manage to contact their spirits because the intention of such things is to stop stuff getting through.
What is it you are so afraid of, that you feel the need to use such things?
I do home visits too (not crystal therapy but the same principle applies) and they can be tiring both in terms of the driving and lugging equipment. Have you considered renting a room? Local wellbeing centres often have rooms that can be rented by the hour.
Sadly nothing is quite as a good as a room of your own that you can set up exactly as you want . .....but compromises sometimes have to be made. Good luck

Thank you so much for your lovely messages, I am not sure how to message you back privately???
Apologies Crowan. My therapist was a Shamanic trained and she also used Crystal Healing as part of her therapy. I didn't just call her a crystal healer as she encompassed all her skills when providing extremely effective treatments. I just put 'shamanic crystal healing' - as I didn't want to dwell on this on my response to White Fairy. However, what I did want to make clear is I have been for a form of Crystal Healing.
Tashanie, I do agree that having your own rent a room is a great idea!!! I would love my own room to carry out my treatments, unfortunately, the cost of renting a room when you don't have many clients initially (in my experience) negates any sort of financial return for yourself. I do intend to have my own room in the future as it is much easier!! 🙂
However, another point White Fairy, is that some clients may find it much easier for you to go to them - for example clients who are physically disabled or have mental health issues that make leaving the house challenging and extremely distressing. So in some ways being a Mobile Crystal Healer is a bit of a Unique Selling Point (USP).
🙂 xx
Yes so true Tashaniel. Well I have been looking at the costs...gas in cost and renting a room is only an extra cost, so you realy gotta calculate what is a better financial choice.
In this time I have came across someone who is thinking of renting out a appartment house. Tiny house, real cute. Its in an area where people come to rest and go for hotel wellness and pool and so on....
I had a look its real cute, but would have to move out the bed in the sleeping room to make room for my massage bed. The owner said that would be a challenge but did not close the door and said we will think about it and talk after new year.
I see very clearly how would everything go and made a program and also made financial structure of my idea.
Hoping for relaization, but I have not closed the door to my door to door possibility...you gotta start somewhere, but there certenly is lots to carry.
I have seen your site before, I remember the wolf sign.

I agree, I was thinking also about the older people who do not have cars or cant come that far, but also in this case you need to make some sort of rules ..like how far will you drive. If you need to drive an hour and a half and the gas is 40euros and the therapy is 50, it does not realy go threw. Too much work. If you drive that far you need to have at least 2 costumer and better 3 to be worth it. It make take me the whole day to do 3 costumers.
I dont live in a city, i moved out, I think each has a unique situation and you realy gotta think threw.
About talking privately: I have been looking for personal messages but cant find any so I wrote you on your wall and I started a conversation (that how its called in the menu) and than I wrote my email on my wall. If you click on my picture you will see the message and my email. 🙂
HAPPY AND LOVING NEW YEAR 2017 TO ALL OF YOU! KISS, KISS

I have found it possible to rent rooms by the hour in well being centres. The charge is generally around 15.00 per hour for adhoc bookings . ....at least in this area. So I hire a room when I need it. I have no say on decor, and have to use their equipment normally but as I said compromises have to be made. The atmosphere in the center and in the rooms is great so its not a huge problem
