Hello,
A while back both my daughter and I felt compelled to pick up the same crystal. The problem is, neither of us can remember what it's called, I can't find anything similar in any of the books I have and the shop I brought it from has since closed down!

I'd really appreciate any ideas with this.

Thanks so much! x

Looks like it may be an obsidian of some sort.

I would say it is an Orbicular Jasper?

At one of my workshops I showed the class a large piece of raw Amethyst one week and asked them what it was, everyone said of course "That's Amethyst!"

The next week afer some very careful work I showed them a dozen or so tumblestones and asked them to name them. The answers came back fast, Amethyst, Chalcedony, Clear Quartz,Smoky Quartz, Purple Quarz, Chevron Amethyst, Flourite, Rose Quartz, Agate, Jasper and so on too many to name here or that I can remember.

My point was it was the same stone as the week before, just cut up into bits, some polished some raw points.

Lol have forgotten why I was telling this now hehehe have a good weekend and Merry Christmas x
