Does anyone have experience of using Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)?
I read a book on it recently and was amazed by how practical it all seemed (even if the language was a bit dated!). I guess I'm a bit of a sucker for 'practical' things (is that because I'm a guy do you think??!!).
Anyway I was considering working towards taking a training course in it, and wondered if anyone has either experience of using it, either as a client or therapist. I'm not sure if it's better to just study CBT though, since this is a whole lot more popular. Any thoughts?
(I know this is essentially a type of psychotherapy rather than counselling, but this seemed like the best place to mention it, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong forum!).

Gabriel
