Counselling forum

Funny you should ask that question - my husband is a counsellor and I am an holistic therapist - we have just this week set up a counselling forum and are looking for people to join. We meet every few months with a few of his college counselling friends and thought it would be good to have a forum for posting questions & interesting info. Some of them are on hols at the moment so we are still waiting for them to register on the site.

Likewise if there are any counsellors or others interested in joining please contact me.

Must bear in mind that if we do, these mods discussion posts will have to be deleted ... this is why if we have a post/thread in TUD, we usually put just one short post on the end to say:

Please see discussion in main mods [and give link to new discussion thread started there, which is retained for future ref] Less work in the long run, and less potential for a boo boo 😉

I would say yes, if it is edited to say something like:

Can anyobody recommend a friendly counselling forum. If so, please may i ask to have the details sent by PM .

Her original. I think the 'purely devoted to ...' should be somehow included, even if reworded, to make it quite clear she's not after something similar to HP. 'Specialist' perhaps?

I think I'm right in saying threads can be split now. If that's so, then rather than deleting them, we can keep the discussion posts here for future ref. and just return the starter post to Mind Therapies. Or maybe copy hers into a new thread, move it, and retain the whole original here.
