Hi,
I was talking to another colonic therapist recently and had a quick peek at his website, and saw that he uses a belly ball.
It looks really interesting and I'd like to try using one myself, but can only see them being sold on a New Zealand website.
Does anyone know of a UK supplier at all?
Thanks
Emma
It would help to know what a belly ball actually is AVH??? do you have the web site to have a look!
Belly bag
Hi there
Is it the same as a bump bag? Take a look at to see if I'm being totally stupid or if they mean the same thing.

Looks like it is a wooden ball for self massage that can be used at home or during a colonic.
I imagine you could pretty well use any ball of the right size for a similar effect - it all depends on the diameter of the ball, the websites selling them seem to leave that out of the page, but since you know someone selling them, you can either get to see it or ask how big it is (cricket ball size? rockmelon size? etc) I'd be interested to hear how big it is.
cover colon massage in one of their books using balls, they use a variety of sizes depending on how deeply you want to work
Hi,
Sorry I've been really dozey and forgot I needed to actually reply, rather than just read the new posts!
@Lesley - It's not a bump bag, but they look really great for pregnant mums - thanks for the link.
The Belly Ball I found is at [DLMURL] http://www.hydrohealth.co.nz/Belly-Ball-2.html [/DLMURL] and looks like it could be really helpful for people to help dissipate trapped wind and stimulate some movement in the large intestine, without being too intense a feeling. No size is mentioned, but I think it's quite small as it needs to be handheld.
I've only managed to find the New Zealand link, so perhaps should look at shipping costs etc...
Thanks,
Emma

There is a UK website with them - with the way the exchange rate is going with the NZ dollar they might be cheaper (for the price they have they must've got a lot with a good exchange rate) They say it's £16 for existing clients. Silly website also fails to mention where they are located (not even a vague district), I suppose they expect you to figure it out from the phone number!
