Hi Guys

I am interested to know what qualified colonic therapists (if that's the right term?) think of this web site?

I look forward to finding out!

Thanks
Donna 🙂

ps I did post this earlier but it looks like it's not showing up. Apologies if it comes up twice.

RE: Dr Natura

Weird, I can't see any adverts???

If it is really true though that we have that inside of us, then I want to try it for sure. YUK!

I just want to find out what people think first before I shell out the money.

Someone will know, I bet someone on here has tried it.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuughhhh!!

The very thought of having all those yukky things inside me makes me feel quite ill!! I am sure all those testimonials are true, but they are almost fantastic.

I too would love to hear from someone in this country who has tried the products and would recommend them!

RE: Dr Natura

Hi everyone! This is my first visit to both healthypages and this forum, and I've now added them to my favourites. 🙂

I've been intrigued by Dr Natura for some time now and, having tried a whole gamut of other things, I have finally come to the conclusion that I may as well try Dr Natura - nothing ventured, nothing gained as they say.

There is one person that I know in the UK that has tried and recommended the product and he said, "I bought and imported 4 months supply of it last spring. I did the detox for 3 months, and saved the last pack for use in October. The tea (can't remember the name, though it's the one listed in their blurb) really did wake me up in the morning and get me to the loo, just like it states. I found the stomach cramps quite challenging, especially at the beginning (though again, there is info on that which suggests regulating the strength to suit you). Stuff did come out that was truly gruesome". Although I'm still a little sceptical about the product, I do value his opinion so I've decided to take the plunge.

Incidentally, did you notice the state of the bathrooms/toilets of some of the people that have posted their pics? I'm sure Kim and Aggie could offer them some advice in that department!

Anyway, here goes, my credit card is poised, ready for action... wish me luck!

Hi Speckled Wood

Good Luck! and Welcome to Healthy Pages!

Im getting all excited that you are going to try this. Can't wait to hear about the results! I do really want to try this so I will wait to hear what you think first before I take the plunge.

And yes, I did notice the state of the bathrooms. They were absolutely minging some of them (is that a typical woman thing or what?).

See you around the boards.

Hello!! I too am really excited that someone is going to try this out - I am really intigued and keep thinking about it!

All the testimonials were from Americans, so it is good to know that there is a brave soul in the UK somewhere!

I have a friend who has been on the Dr. Natura program for about 5weeks. She is quite an advocate. However, I have been doing some research and am wondering what you think of the whole fiber making a mold of the poo and that's what you are dispelling theory?? Check out .
I also am wondering about the colonoscopy and why it wouldn't notice if you had a lot of intestianal:) build up.

Do parasites come out when you have a colonic?

Hi there,

I know that [link= http://www.bodyandsoulzone.co.uk ]www.bodyandsoulzone.co.uk[/link] is qualified for sure. She is a cool kiwi who trained in the USA. I sing her praises cos she totally changed my opinion and my confidence. I had a bad expereince with hydotherapy and this place totally turned things around. She is the best I have been to and I highly recommend her. She even gives a schit when you are only looking for advice!!!!! Worth looking at.....

Very best of luck, Speck! I am going to be watching this site with interest as I am very tempted to go for a colonic but it's a bit pricey for me. Can you tell me how much Dr Natura's stuff worked out at? Mind you I feel it would be more convenient to have a one off session rather than three months worth.....

Anyway do keep us posted. (No pics necessary!)

RE: Dr Natura

Thanks Sunada!

DrNatura in the states have changed their order/supply policy and now only ship to USA and Canada. They have set up an EU operation based in Germany. 3 months supply cost €249 - which is a HELL of a lot for me to fork out, but is less than the cost of 3 colonics and while colonics may have slightly eased my situation in the past, they haven't made a long lasting difference - plus the last one I had caused a lot of internal discomfort.

I think it would have beencheaper to purchase from the US as pound/dollars exchange rate is better than pound/euros, although I guess I would have been hit with UK customs fees too. So perhaps I haven't paid that much extra after all.

Don't worry about the photos... I was only joking - honest! 😉

PS: You can just purchase one month's supply, but a friend tried 3 months and was very pleased with the outcome - plus the more you order, the cheaper it gets.

Day 1:
Today is my first day on DrNatura/Colonix. Took 2 capsules this morning, followed by the fibre drink thingy. That's it for now, until I take the special tea just before bedtime.

Will post againin a few days. 🙂

RE: Dr Natura

Day 6:

I have now completed the first 5 days, which involves half doses of capsules and fibre drink. Day 1 didn't produce any noticeable results.

However, from day 2 there was a definite change/improvement in IBS symptoms - the most dramatic of which was the decrease in intestinal gas. Although I still have the usual abdominal discomfort and bloating, the decrease in gas emissions has been a very welcome development! Also, the fluctuations between constipation and diarrhoea have ceased. I have three to four evacuations every morning and then that's it - no more rushing to the toilet at various times of the day. In terms of stools, I haven't noticed anything remarkable about them, except they are much better formed and they also contain undigested food - which I don't ever recall seeing in my stools before. On day 3, I did see a piece of round raggedy-cabbage like material, although I hadn’t eaten cabbage for weeks!

Today, Day 6, I have started the full dose of fibre and capsules. I expect things to now shift up a gear!

RE: Dr Natura

Day 8:

Whilst on the plan, tummy cramps (bowel contractions) first thing in the morning are normal, apparently.

I've never before needed help evacuating my bowels in the morning - I'm usually as regular as clockwork - but the quality of stools is now far better than if I'm left to my own devices, so to speak. Yesterday, day 7, for the first time in... in fact it's so long I can't even remember... I produced stools to be proud of! Fully formed, healthy-looking-sausage like stools, instead of the usual ‘sticky slivers’ and/or ‘rabbit droppings’ (or diarrhoea). Yep, I’m definitely impressed with this development.

However, instead of being woken by these contractions at a reasonable hour (between 7am-8am), I was woken at 4.30am this morning. Grrrrrrrr. I was hauled out of a deep sleep by the rhythmic pains, staggered bleary eyed to the loo, fell back into bed (while still experiencing some contractions) and eventually went back to sleep.

My tummy’s felt a bit uncomfortable today as well. The gas is back (with a vengeance), which I am disappointed about as I thought I was ‘cured’, although I keep telling myself that it’s only day 8 and there’s another 22 before I’ve completed the first course of treatment.

Haven’t seen anything weird yet – just undigested food. I’m wondering if this is at the root of my gas problems in as much as it doesn’t normally come out (well not as far as I know) and is just putrefying and fermenting inside of me.

Let’s hope I have a better day tomorrow and an undisturbed sleep tonight.

RE: Dr Natura

I also have just finished the 2nd month of using Dr. Natura colon cleansing system. It definitely has made me feel better. I've always had constipation problems and this product really helped. No more gas problems, no more constipation, no more bloating etc..my question is can you continue to use this product on a daily basis? I feel that if I quit I'll go back to my regular self or should I say my irregular self. Never did see any of that nasty stuff coming outta me.

RE: Dr Natura

Hidarlenemarie,

Well done on completing 2 months of DrNatura. I have doubts that all that nasty stuff is going to come out of me too, but if it could just eliminate the continuous excessive gas and bloating then I'd be happy. However, it's early days for me - still in my 2nd week, and I'm following the programme for 3 months.

It says in the leaflet that you can continue using the Colonix fibre drink indefinitely (it is just psyillium husks after all) but the Paranil capsules and Kleritea can only be used for 3 months at a time, then you have to give it a break for 3 months or more. You can buy psyllium from Holland & Barratt et al and although not as effective as Colonix (I know because I've tried them) it will still keep you regular/bulked up.

RE: Dr Natura

Day 13:

Things have got better since last week - the cramping isn't so bad and I've been sleeping well. In fact, since drinking the Kleri Tea, the quality of my sleep is so much better than usual; I’m asleep almost as soon as my head touches the pillow, I sleep right through the night and when I wake up, I feel so much more refreshed. It’s just the early ‘bowel wake up call’ every morning that’s a bit of a pain (literally!).

Woke up at 5.30am this morning, but then I saw a beautiful sunrise out of the bathroom window that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise, so it’s not all bad. In fact, I’ve decided to turn things around and make the most of these early mornings (I’m usually a late riser). So from tomorrow, whatever time I get up, I’m going to stay up – albeit 4am or 6am!

There was an interesting development yesterday (Sunday), 3-4 bowel movements a day seems now to be my ‘normal mode’. My third BM was quite loose and smelt particularly offensive, so I decided to investigate the horror in the toilet bowl, using a toilet brush, just to see…

At first I thought it was just the contents of a loose BM, but on closer inspection it was… oh, I can’t seem to describe it… it was a little bit like a large piece of skin; the same colour as my stools, but kind of stretchy and slimy. Eeek! Later that day, after lunch, I had one more BM, but this time it was much different. The only way to describe it was… (LOOK AWAY IF YOU’RE SQUEAMISH) do you remember those ‘picnic’ chocolate bars that used to be on the market? Well, it actually resembled a picnic bar! About 3.5 inches long, cylindrical and knobbly, with lots of white things sticking out of it – I kid you not!

Today, I haven’t seen any of the above, but I have had a couple of very loose BM with lots of white things floating in the water (and undigested food too). Now, I did eat nuts yesterday evening, so perhaps that was it was – undigested nuts… I hope!

It really is gross, bending over the toilet bowl and peeking and poking with a stick, but intriguing all the same. Thank God it’s my poo and no one else’s, otherwise I would most certainly throw up!

That reminds me of a joke by Johnny Vegas, “Kids are like farts. You cherish your own, but hate everyone else’s!”
