I can't recommend anyyone myself, as I am too much of a chicken to have this done myself, but you can find a list of practitioners all over the country at [DLMURL] http://www.colonic-association.com/REGISTERED%20COLONIC%20THERAPISTS.htm [/DLMURL]

RE: Colonic hydrotherapy needed in London
Hi - the best therapist I know is Dr Milo Siewert - he lives in Devon, but has regular London clinics (Covent Garden I think). He is not only a therapist but is the main teacher of this therapy having practised it for over 30 years. I can probably dig out a phone number if you want it. Milo used to work at my salon once a month, treating clients, and comes highly recommended. Good luck!

Hi Sezzera,
if you can travel to Harley Street I recommend Aqualibria, considered UK's premier colon hydrotherapy Spa.

They do colonic irrigation using a new type of equipment I have been there many times myself and have been extremely satisfied.

RE: Colonic hydrotherapy needed in London
Hello,
I would like to share my experience at Aqualibria this week which was to my amazement absolutely fantastic !
I have been suffering from constipation and bloating for a long time - my doctor says I have got IBS - and even after reading all the nice posts here on HP and on the Web I just could not bring myself to attempt to colonic irrigation.
Last week, a dear friend of mine shared her really positive experience at the Aqualibria clinic which kind of reassured me and pushed me over the edge. I had been on their website before and read all the reviews, so I felt like it was the right time to do it.
I felt really taken care of right from the moment I called to enquire and shared my problems. Everyone was really great over the phone and took time to listen to me and explain what I needed and was going through. I felt I was in safe hands - which was one of my worries about having this procedure done - as the documents I had to fill in were really in-depth. That reassured me that I was not going to be exposed to something that would not be suitable for me personally and I supposed it reflected the fact that the clinic is in Harley Street after all.
When I got there, apart from being welcomed by a very warm receptionist, Vel which was going to be my therapist took her time to really make me feel at ease during the consultation process. I was really amazed to discover so much about an area of my body which I had been neglecting for years... Vel was really knowledgeable with the right answer for just about every question I was asking.
Well...onto the treatment itself... Aqualibria really have it sorted 100% here as the treatment rooms are those of a luxurious spa, with DVD players, massagers, and the colonic device itself which was just so much different from what I expected. Nobody put anything up my bum but instead all I had to do was lay gently on the special device and find the entrance with my fingers... and that was it ! The tube itself must have been no bigger than a straw and only had to get in about an inch, so I was told.
Perhaps because I was pleasantly relieved by the size of the tube, or maybe it was the soothing music in the background, or the care of Vel which really made me relax throughout the treatment... the fact is I really enjoyed the whole duration of my colonic treatment.
After I finished Vel took the time to give me a refreshing drink and I was put under no pressure to leave. I gently got dressed and I was ready to leve as a new me !
For years I had not felt so liberated and for the last few days I have had regular bowel movements for the first time in ages !
I am due for a follow-up in two weeks, and I only expect things to get better from now on.
I am sharing this because because I want to encourage those of you who have been suffering like myself from severe constipation and that, like myself, have kept silent for fear of this colonic treatment, to just let go and give it a try. I wish I did this a long time ago...
If you decide to go to Aqualibria ([link= http://www.aqualibria.com ]www.aqualibria.com[/link]) please tell Vel you were recommended by Bubbly Joanna!
Love Joanna

If you classify Hertfordshire as North London then you can not go wrong with Heaven Beauty Salon in Hitchin. The Therapist there, Keelee is brilliant, the treatment works and the atmosphere, ambience, the whole package is second to none, including London Salons !
On mainline out of kings cross, reasonable price compared to others and where I go regularly.
Hope this helps
Chris

A new clinic has recently opened It was advertised in the Barnet Post and I went along for a treatment. I was very impressed by the professional attitude of the therapist, Maureen. The session went very well and my modesty was intacted at all times. The clinic is spotless and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!
