Hi everyone,
I had my first treatment 2 days ago- the therapist was really proffessional and really put me at ease.

She has recommended I take "Co-Ton with" tablets 2x3times a day to encourage my colon to release some blockages. Anyone else use these?

My abdomen was a little tender yesterday and there were a few "botty burps" too!!!! 😉

Well, I shall answer my own question!
I have been taking the tablets for a couple of weeks now and am finding them very effective. They are best taken with food as the ginger in them can cause a little discomfort around the upper abdomen otherwise.
I am planning to halve the dose next week and see how I go.

I definitely feel less congested and thinner 😀

Hi there,
I have been recommending Coton for several years in my colon hydrotherapy practice because they are so gentle.

The "Coton with.." that you mention include a herb called Goldenseal which helps to detox the liver. It can be a bit harsh for some people though. We usually start people off with the Coton A "with" and then move them to Coton B which doesn't have Goldenseal in it.

Maybe you could ask your practitioner for that?

It's nice to have something to help you go to the loo, without all the cramping, griping & wind and the desperate gallop to get there before there's an accident !

Hi penike,
Interesting to read your response.
Could the liver detox be connected to a spate of spots mainly on my face (side of nose and chin) rather like hormonal ones? I rarely had spots until last few months. I wondered if it was another aspect of perimenopause!!
