Hi everyone
Bowen has been intriguing me for a few years now. I really do not know much about it, so am in the process of surfing the web etc. I was hoping that some one here would be able to assist me.
I was wondering the approx price for Bowen courses and if anyone knew of school/place of learning in or around Durham

My thanks
JIll:)

If you go to the courses section on here and click Durham, it will show you the dates for courses in Newcastle.

I think that with Bowen you learn it in stages so it can work out expensive. A colleague went through some of the training but as she wasn't going to be using it much as she had a full time job in another industry, decided to drop it after a few courses.

there was a practioner in claypath but I think she concentrates more on teaching now, their is also a practioner in Carrville.

Hi Itharial
Have a look at the European Bowen Therapies Studies website (sorry don't know how to put a link in). I was looking for Bowen courses last year and found this 1 did courses in Newcastle and Edinburgh. It will give you some idea of prices and course content. I don't do Bowen myself but would love to learn in the future.

Helen

HI Jill - There are Bowen courses in your area - have a look at , the website of the European College of Bowen Studies, which teaches all over the UK. The cost of the entire course (5 modules spread over about a year) is slightly less than £1405.00 (that is the price at the old VAT, it is less at 15% VAT!).

Hi, I work at the NIHP in Sacriston, which is a multi modality practice.

Two of the practitioners teach Bowen. Courses are run within the practice quite regularly.

There are about 7 Bowen practitioners in all and they're nearly always busy.

Here's the link: [DLMURL] http://www.healthnorth.co.uk/ecbs-bowen-training-durham [/DLMURL]

cheers
