Alastair Rattray is an excellent bowen teacher based in essex. He has a wonderful web site about childhood asthma & bowen (its amazing for that) I have recently completed my bowen with him (just have news I have passed today!!!!)
Course are in chelmsford. Look at the European College of Bowen Studies sight for the course details.

I have found most of my clients have gone over to bowen now - results are amazing and its very easy on your own body!

Alastair is the only Bowen teacher accredited by ECBS in the South East. There are only 8 teachers of Bowen in the UK

I have looked into doing the Bowen course myself (Essex girl) and the nearest one for me is Leytonstone you can contact Susanna (PM me if you want her phone number) it was a bit expensive but that should also be fine for me next year. good luck. she was a very informative lady and answered all my quetions.

You can also look at to find teachers
there are more than 8 teachers of Bowen in the UK as there are two organisations (each one claiming to be better than the other - humans, don't you just love them!) Bowtech being the original one and the European School of Bowen being the one that seems to have its act together.
You could possibly offer to sponsor a class and organise one in your area.
Another alternative is Michael Nixon something or other (can't remember his name) who does what he calls 'Advanced Bowen', he runs some courses in the UK as well. I think his technique is called NST, but it's practically the same thing.
Lastly you could try and organise Gene Dobkin to come over from the US to teach a course. He was a senior teacher with Bowtech for years and then went on to develop his own stuff using the concept of Tom Bowen's work rather than the set procedures that both Bowtech and the European School use. gene dobkin is in th UK at end of March 06 to teach his version of therapy based on the Bowen Technique - check out his site as mentioned above
