ITEC Level 2 Beauty specialist Practical exam- help?

let me think back...
waxing was half an hour...the examiner chose an area for you to wax..it's only going to be half of one leg, under one arm, one side of bikini...
skin care was 1 hour followed by half an hour make-up.
nails was half and hour - but ITEC might have shortened that now - not sure though

your teachers should be able to give you out a list of questions - but really they can ask you anything on the syllabus...

hey im doing nvq2 in beauty therapy and we are doing make-up at the moment, we have a list of allergens but the most prominent ones that i can think of are:
eosin dye.....colour pigment in lipstick
formaldahyde...in nail polish
glitters, colours, perfumes and powders.

Can anyone who has taken the practical exam explain what treatments are included with the timings for each - for example what exactly do we wax (half leg back or front, full leg...), how long for make up, how long for nails etc etc. Also any possible questions you were asked during the exam.:eek:

I just had fomative but I know for:
Half leg wax = half hour
full leg= 1 hour
bikini/underarm=10-15 minuted
lip/chin=10minutes
eyebrow= 10 minutes
forearm= 15 minutes

are the practical exams 3 hours long with no break are treatments done with no break betwen them??
