What profession are you? I haven't worked with Steiner myself, but a young friend of mine did a 9 month contract with them.
1. Try not to overdo the makeup - keep it as natural as possible.
2. My friend said the interview day was good fun, and can't remember (she had her contract in 2005) any exams unless she blanked them out!
3. She can't remember a group speech, unless it was the group activity they were given when they had to design and float a boat made with stuff they were given from a box.
4. One to one interviews were pretty much the same as for any job, just relax and be honest.
5. No need to be scared - just be excited - if you don't give it a go, you may regret it.
6. If you have never been on a cruise ship before, get to the gym and get fit! Yvonne (my friend) walk miles every day, just getting from her cabin (which she shared and it had no window!) to the salon. Things may have changed, but the pay wasn't that impressive, and she found it a bit hard to do the hard sell thing with products to clients. She was tipped well, but they pooled the tips which some of the staff resented!

She was told to leave her laptop at home, as the staff are not insured for expensive equipment. If they were found using their mobiles during working hours, the senior staff would confiscate them - they had to be switched off until free time.
Yvonne also enjoyed the training - 12 weeks, but as she was from Scotland, found it hard to leave straight from the venue to Gatwick to be flown out to Florida, rather than having the chance to spend some time with her parents.

Go for it Tiffany - treat it as an adventure - you never know, you might really enjoy it and want to go back for more!!! If I come back in another life, I'd jump at the chance!
