My neice is having a sleepover next weekend. She wants to have a pamper evening where they give each other facials. She also wants to make the treatments herself.
I have suggested cleansers, toners and exfoliants made from milk, yogurt and fruits, olive oil and aloe which I think are suitable but am a bit stuck for moisturisers. Most recipes I have include shea or cocoa butter or beeswax. Can anyone suggest anything they can put on and leave?
Thank you.

They could also make a gentle & simple facial scrub using porridge oats and cornflour. Simply blitz the porridge oats in a blender or coffee grinder attachment until fine, then mix equal amounts of the oats and cornflour. To use, take a small amount in the palm of your hand and mix to a paste. Can be used as a mask too if thick enough.

You could make a simple facial oil as a leave on moisturiser. A mix of coconut, grapeseed, jojoba & sweet almond would be suitable for young skins. My 10 year old son uses my facial balm with Bergamot, Tea Tree & Cedarwood and facial oil which has Sandalwood, Cedarwood & Lemongrass oils.

Just a thought, make sure the parents are asked about any allergies that the children have.

Hope they all have a great night!!

Thank you Annax. Think I'll make up some oils, as you say, for them to use as moisturisers. My sister is going to ask their parents about allergies. I've tried to give her recipes which are least likely to cause allergic reaction.

I know this is an older thread but I wanted to add that a good cleanser is 1 part natural plain yogurt, mixed with 1 part crushed strawberries and a few drops of honey.
