Have you heard of HD Brows? Apparently it's all the rage down that end of Essex (Brentwood) Gateway Workshops are doing their own version of this and I am going tomorrow to do the course, waxing threading tinting etc etc am really excited. I shall report back when done 😀
Forgot to report back, over a year later LOL better late than never.
Well let me just say, wow, what a brilliant course this was, small classes good price (£150) excellently written manual, and aftercare from the tutor is great too. This course has taken my business up a notch and some, with that and waxing it is my bread and butter.
Can't fault the company, I know some moan about one day courses, but you don't pass unless the tutor thinks you are competent. I will keep learning with Gateway as long as they bring the courses out 🙂
You haven't reached freedom till you've had your brows tattooed. Be aware that all permanent makeup artists are not created equal. Some are artists and some are technicians...there is a big difference.
Now if you want to make money with brows and you have artistic talent? Learn to do permanent makeup (BUT... NOT FROM A TRADITIONAL BODY TATTOOEST). If you want to do better than magic marker brows that look like tattoos...learn from a permanent makeup artist that does really good natural looking work.
I prefer iron oxides (as opposed to inks and dyes) and a hand tool (as opposed to a machine) myself; the work looks less like a tattoo.
