Hi, I am looking for an in depth, traditional Ayurvedic therapy course, preferably in the South East and wondered if anyone had any thoughts or experience with any please.
I'm a massage therapist and Ayurveda is the direction I would like to take, but I am wondering if it's possible to find a good course in the UK that is as in depth as I'd like it to be. I appreciate India is where I really need to train, but logistically it's not possible with my 6 year old.
I am not looking for fast track courses as I believe you need the time to learn and understand Ayurveda.
I have found an Ayurveda Therapy Diploma course through Ayurveda Pura and although it is a 10 day course, so completely going against my beliefs of long courses, it shows the kinds of therapies I'd like to learn about.
If of course, you think that in the western world, I need to do a course that appeals to westerners, then I am happy to listen and take advice.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you x
You could always look at the 'short course' as a stepping stone to your dream of attending more in depth training in the future.
It sounds like it would be a great introduction and as Jabba says, a stepping stone until a future more indepth course in it.
You can also do your own self study after the ten day course to expand your knowledge and provide greater depth to the Ayurvedic way of life.
Best of luck with it.
