Hey all,
I am a qualified Shiatsu therapist wanting to maybe add some more skills to me CV and widen the net for clientele gathering. Something I was possibly interested in is Aromatherapy and, like Shiatsu, there seem to be a lot of schools and courses that are of varying qualities. So....
1) Can anyone recommend a good school in the South East (I live in Kings Langley, Herts)?
2) As I am already qualified as a Shiatsu therapist (from a reputable school) do you think this will help towards time/cost for an Aromatherapy course?
3) Is anyone happy to engage in a chat (or even a swap) so I can learn more?
I would love to speak with a therapist about what it is like to practise Aromatherapy although I'm a little bashful about asking the 2-3 local therapists in my surrounds (after all, I will be potentially be providing another competitor).
Many thanks!
David
Hi
It's a while ago since you posted and there don't seem to be any replies but I wondered if you found a school you were happy with. I'm really keen to start and am looking too. I need to fit it around school terms and so would value any leg work you've done, especially if you've actually started! I'm not too far away from you.
Thanks
Sam

Hi
With having work commitments I did a course online. I found the material and learning content very well written. I did a course with Luna holistics they are accredited and I also did a course with Stonebridge college. They do an NCFE which is equivalent to an NVQ3 they also offer a workshop, but sadly it was too far for me to travel.
I have since seen other courses that give you hands on experience such as Gateway Holistics. The tutors are ITEC or VTCT trained.
I hope this of interest to you.
