In an effort to be more natural and use less chemicals I would like to make my own rooms sprays
I have got a load of eo's to use up as I have just replaced the oldest ones in my collection but dont know what to use as carrier
if anyone has a tried and tested recipe I would be interested
thanks in anticipation

RE: Room sprays
Hi!
I use lavender oil in water. Simple! The smell is light and fresh without any nasty effects and it seems to last for ages. I use it all over the house and even in my baby's room, on linen, curtains etc.
I don't really measure the oil as such, I just stop when I feel I've added enough!
Hope this helps,
Crystal xxx

Water sounds okay to me.... just make sure you shake it up and use just a small spray bottle so that you can make a fresh batch of spray often!
RE: Room sprays
thank you both - I wasnt sure if I needed to add oil or alcohol to it but have now made a very nice blend
The house now smells lovely, so does the cat - didnt see her on the chair - oops

Hi girl, Well what I do is mix a few drops of lavender oil in rose water... The fragrance is really refreshing and soothing.. I hope you like this blend.
Thanks

RE: Room sprays
Sure.. do give it a try and tell me if you like it.. I am thinking of mixing sandal wood, lavendar and rose..but will dilute it with some alcohol.. I'll tell you about the results as soon as I am done experimenting.. My sandal wood bottle is empty these days.. I'll get a new one and post in.
