Hi Aromatherapists
I just wondered what carrier oil you would use for someone with high cholesterol - and also would you recommend that they have a massage say only every few weeks - or is it really not a big problem?
Thanks

RE: Carrier Oils + Cholesterol

internal use of apricot kernal, borage mixed with evening primrose, Olive oil, peach kernal, safflower,,soya, sunflower,
wheatgerm, ......all these are quoted as internal use but of course they would be the ones to choose.Grapeseed as well as it contains no cholesterol;......i would not worry about the frequency of treatment,,,,unless there are other things wrong jane x

I think linseed oil is also good internally. For a massage treatment I agree with Jane and would use Grapeseed due to the linoelic acid content. I also don't think you need to worry about the frequency of treatment, unless your client has High Blood pressure too.
