Hi there,
I am thinking of signing up for the TouchPro chair massage course at the end of the year, but before I part with my £450 I thought I would see what people here thought of them? I've read a few recommendations on here already and would be interested to hear from anyone who's been on one of their courses.
Thanks!
Jo
RE: seated massage course with TouchPro
Hello Jo
They are thorough and professional. Yes, it is a lot of money to part with but they do a good job. Have you had a seated massage from a TouchPro practitioner so you can experience the massage and see if it's your cup of tea? It is a great treatment if you want to go out to workplaces and events giving treatments, since you can give lots without tiring yourself out too much. They teach you techniques that save your body from injury.
Personally, I don't do a lot of chair massage because I prefer to work in a slower, more intuitive way and with the TouchPro massage the emphasis is on moving quickly. You do the same sequence for each client and for me I find that tedious. However, that's just the way and I am and work. If it's the right course for you that's all that matters.
Hello Jo,
I completed my Touchpro course in March this year. It is not an easy course and it requires effort and dedication, but the rewards are tremendous.
I would definately recommend Touchpro. They have a very good reputation (considering that David Palmer is the pioneer of Chair massage) and you will find that many Chair massage companies favour recruiting Touchpro certified practitioners because of this. You will certainly get your money's worth. One of the best decisions I've ever made.
All the best 🙂
