I just wanted to let people know about acupressure for blocked sinuses.

I have suffered from sinus infections for a few years ever since I developed a dust allergy.

Having crackling in my ears, a stuffy feeling in my face/head, and terrible headaches became the norm, until I tried acupressure.

All I do every day, once or twice a day for a few minutes, is press the sinus acupressure points on both hands - located at the very tip of each finger/thumb.

I am cured ! So simple but so effective. If I ever feel as though my sinuses are starting to play up I just press the points a few times throughout the day and it never develops into a headache.

I thought this might help others suffering from the same problem.

Hi Debsie, welcome to Hp

What you are describing is more reflexology/zone therapy, but acupressure theory also explains this phenomena.

Thanks for sharing this with us, glad it worked.

Best Wishes

Acupressure is able to noticeably help in case of diabetes
or brain curculation problems so it's no wonder.

Hi Debsie

Thanks for confirming what I already believed. I did the Accupressure points when I started my menopause and have been alble to control hotflushes. I am so glad that I am not alone in believing that something so simple can be so powerful

have a lovely day

Hi Tottie - glad it is working for you!

There are a couple of other acupressure points which work really well for sinusitis - PM me if you want to know them, and I wil explain.
They are points we use in practise, and get patients who come for acupuncture to use at home to aid their treatments.

Hi All
I have been reading this post with much interest.

I would be so grateful for some advice on sinus prblems. I often end up with bad migraines and have to take to bed. However the AC on warm at work doesnt help and have recently been going home with bad headaches. This seems so unfair when its my work environment that has caused the problem .

I dont see the company changing the system for me !! help

As well as acupressure points reflexology is really helpful for the sinus problem. Lots of people can feel the difference even after one treatment. If you stimulate your four fingers and toes ( reflex points of sinuses), it will help clear sinuses.
