Wondered if anyone knows of a gentle welcome to a new baby, the parents are not Pagan, but have given Gran permission to welcome him in a Wiccan way. Its not a baby naming ceremony btw.

I read about one it was beatiful it was called a wiccaning or childblessing ritual... I'm not sure if it is naming the baby but it sounds a bit like a christaning except for wiccan babies (well parents)

Lozz, not my family, a friends!! but shall pass on your best wishes anyway.
Someone came up with the idea of casting a Circle and walking the baby round in it and asking the Elements to protect him.
I think he is to be christened at some point, whether as religious belief or just a social occasion is up for grabs!!
