Are you wanting to burn specific coloured candles for spells/ceremonies or just to burn generally?

The Wanning Moon is a time to "push things away". If I'm just burning candles, then I don't dedicate them to a purpose so it doesn't matter which colour you burn but if you are looking for one for specific then I would burn the same colour candle as I would in the Waxing Moon but dedicate it to, say for example, pushing away poverty (instead of attracting money) and that kind of thing.

But them I'm new to this also so someone might come up with a better plan!

I would say that it depends in element it is at the time, currently the moon in Waning in Air / Libra and is all to do with reputation and how other precieve you and you perceive yourself so depending on what you feel you could burn what ever candle you feel but the colour for Libra is blue but as it is the moon phase you should always use a pale colour and Blue is associated with air anyway!.

But it you light it tomorrow after 5.30 (that is when the moon phases change) it will be in Fire / Scorpio so obviously it would be red or pink!

Thanks Doogle I was thinking along the same lines in fact..and also Thanks M!..generally I keep in sync with planetary hours ...so the color per sign is interesting twist as well. I have a comment to share about candles and Mer rx but I will do that on a seperate post.
