hi
has anyone any ideas forspells for letting go of the past, and healing to do with past relationships.
i am kinda new to this..i have an affinity to it that has been my whole life (or 2!)...and only now using it consciously and with purpose.
any ideas would be appreciated. does discussingspells before hand take any energy away from them?
i have this book by fiona horne called witch! that is very good...reccommend...i like her style. very funky and eclectic, do it her own way kinda girl! she has chapters in there about days of weeks to do particular spells to or moon phases, but would appreciate any opinions?

I dont know about spells but a good method is to sit down quietly with pen and paper, write down the things that you want to let go off.. you can make this as long or as short as you want to. When done, put into a box and go outside and carefully set it alight - saying that the past is now gone and cannot come back. Watch the past go up in ashes and smoke.
Any time you start to think back on one of those times, remind yourself, 'oh it cant come back and it was set alight' (or something along those lines).
You can put all your issues in the box, or do one issue at a time.

With regard to healing past relationships, I find that visualising seeing yourself and the other person coming together and hugging/making up - listen to the dialogue that they have and (as an outsider) let them deal with the issue.
I believe that our souls meet during our dreamstate, so before you go to sleep, set out the intention that you wish to meet them in dreamstate and become good friends etc.

.......i was going to burn some old journals too thati wrote when thisrelationship was really difficult, though this feels like it will be really hard to do, probably be very healing if i can bring myself to do it!......... to meyour ideais a spell of sorts...a prayer with props!
