Reiki can be used for healing, so perhaps you would be interested in that? I pressume from your message that you are 11, (sorry if I am wrong) so telling your parents/guardians that you are interested in that sort of thing may help. 🙂
Wicca isn't a "cult" it's an earthed based religion, which sometimes uses Witchcraft. (Though not all Wiccans use Witchcraft). You don't need to join a coven to be Wiccan, if you have friends that are interested in the same thing, you can start your own coven. Otherwise being a solitary Witch can have it's benefits.:D There is a lot of information online, typing "wicca" into a yahoo or google search engine will come up with loads. That way you don't need to spend money on books & you don't need to join a coven to learn from others.

As Shining Star has pointed out, Wicca is no cult.

My understanding is that, as far as Wicca Witches go, there are two sorts. The "Lone Witch" who practices wicca/witchcraft by herself or "Covens of witches" which is a group of witches who do things together. I have it on reasonably good authority that covens can sometimes be a bit like any other bussiness/organisation in that there can be some politics involved which dictates who can do what etc. therefore , in my opinion, restricting the witches own ability to grow.

A Cult is a term generally used (not always correctly mind you) to represent a group of people who are very controlling and will enforce their own views about things onto you which you must take on board if you are going to belong. Generally, if you are getting anywhere nearsomething that is being called aCult I would suggest that you take great care.

I think some Covens do have Creche Covens for their children who wish to become Witches, but most will not take on anyone under 18.

We have our own website, and nothing sinister goes on at all, but we do insist that members are 18.

I think you would be better to enlist your parents help here.
I can ask around and find out if there are any sites that are safe for minors, and suitable also.

But please take very great care, and tell your parents

Very reluctantly and with regret, the Moderators had to terminate White Wicca's membership, because of the HP ruling on minimum age of members. We did give her some useful websites to have a look at*, and the thread has remained as so much guidance has been given here for younger "guests" who may be lookingon HP insearch of information.

As pointed out, wicca is not a cult.
I have been a lone witch for the past 18 years, also i am known as hedge. I believe that we all born with a gift. Mine is deserning of spirits. I also have the gift of protection and enlightment. Please think what other members have told you, speak to your parents.
