This is probably posted here quite often, but I am hoping to become wiccan, and I'm wondering where to start. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

RE: Newbie
Hello Solax and welcome from me too 🙂
My suggestion would be to do some background research into what Wicca, and Paganism generally, is all about. You may of course have alreadydone some research, but here are a couple of websites, where you will find a wealth of information andlots oflinks to follow up.
This isthe Pagan Federation's own website, where you can find further information, both general and regional:

Although I see that their International Conference was cancelled due to concerns about public transport. Pity that, though understandable ... it's an event I'd have recommended as worth a visit. The scheduled date has now passed anyway, but see what public events you can find local to you. You don't say whereabouts you live, but can I assume it's in the UK?

Another huge site with loads of info and links. Very useful.
Hope these help, and please feel free to come back and share your findings, and ask any further questions.

Hi Solax
The PF 'do' has been cancelled but the Chidren of Artemis one is still on (in Croydon) on 5th of November! Unlike thePF, they are dedicated solely to Wiccaand Witchcraft.Have a look at the link below, lots of info on the website and a good starting point for those interested. I could also recommend the following books for newbies:
Anything written by Kate West.
Witchcrafting by Phyllis Currott.
Living as Pagan in the 21st century by Vivianne Crowley.
A Witch Alone by Marian Green

Good luck and may see you at Witchfest!
