Lupercalia ; was an ancient fertility and purification festival .People assembled at the cave called the Lupercal,on the Palantine Hill where Romulus and Remus were suckeled by their "Wolf" foster mother .

Goats and a dog were sacrificed and young men were smeared with the blood of the victims, then washed it off with milk, as a death and rebirth symbol . The youths were naked exept for animal skins, from which thongs were made and used to strike women rushing around through the streets.

Full Moon Fertility Spell

On the night of the full moon,pick an acorn from the biggest "Oak tree" you can find . Place the acorn in a red pouch, and cary it wth you for one "Lunar" month at the end of the month return to the "Oak tree", in a clockwise direction ( Deocile ), while you chant with "Force Energy and Intention "

From seed to tree,
From tree to me,
From me to thee,
So mote it be

When youv'e finished the the chant, bury the acorn in the ground next to the tree . say a prayer asking for the seed of a child to grow within your "Womb", just as the seed of the mighty oak grows in the ground.

When you have finished leave some money or food, in " Thanks " .Then turn and walk away , " Don't look back "
