Has anyone got an easy house protection spell that I could do?? as last night our car was broken into whilst parked on our drive 🙁 and they attempted to get in the house (unbeknown to us) in the night too. 😡 I have tried a little candle magic before, but am not as fully knowledgeable in the arts of spells as I'd like to be. Any input welcome, many thanks.

Hi snagglepuss.

How awful for you and your family, but I'm afraid it's all too common nowadays.

There is, of course, always the lucky horseshoe which is used because of the protective properties of iron, which is ruled by the planet Mars and diffuses harmful energies. Iron nails will do just as well, if you haven't got a horseshoe, particularly old ones, you need to charge them first, then nail three into a window frame, two in the bottom corners and the third in the middle of the top to form a triangle. This will protect the window. Alternatively, place four charged nails in the four corners of the house, in the attic or the basement and your home will then be 'nailed tight' against harmful forces.

There is also a protection 'Philter' (like a potion, but it is not brewed) that can be used, and placed in a black muslin bag and hung on your door (out of the reach of animals and children). Here is the recipe:

5 drops patchouli oil
3 drops frankincense oil
6 parts sandalwood powder
1 part wolf's hair ( from your local Zoo )
2 parts cinquefoil leaves
4 parts powdered myrrh

Mix the dry ingredients and bind together with the oil and put in the black muslin bag.

Hope this helps.

Love

Oakapple xx

Many many thanks Oakapple. We used to have a horseshoe on the door of our last property until our last landlord decided to break into the house and dispose of a lot of our stuff before the tenancy was up whilst we were in process of moving. This was the start of our run of bad things to happen to us. Will definitely see if I can get hold of the nails and put them around the house as suggested as we have plastic window frames. Will also do the muslin bag thingy - do I need to hang it on the outside of the door??
Cheers m'dear
