Hello everyone,

I've just discovered this forum through looking up spells online. Brilliant!

I know this is a very busy time but if anyone knows of a spell for protecting oneself, specifically from noise caused by inconsiderate neighbours....?

Of course the best thing to do in this instance is to try to reason with said neighbours, then ask the local authorities to step in. Both have proved useless.

Also, I need something simple as esoteric ingredients are not always available in this part of the country and we don't have credit cards, which can make online ordering tricky.

If anyone can help please post or PM me. I have done spells for most of my life so am familiar with white witchcraft. But have moved quite recently and can't find any of my books!

Many many thanks in advance,
blessed be,
Hopecat xxx 🙂

Hi Hopecat and welcome to Healthypages.

I'm sure someone will have some answers for you although I'm not 'into' spells myself.

Love and Reiki Hugs, and Yuletide blessings

Happy Yule to you Hopecat. Nice to have another member from Wales.

I don't have any spells for noisy neighbours, sorry. Threatening them with one might do the trick though.

Hiya Hopecat...welcome to hp......and a very happy Yuletide blessing to you too.
I have a spell for seemingly insurmountable problems.....will that do?...as you can't really change the situation you find yourself in.

Thank you, Oakapple, that would be absolutely brill. When everyone is not so busy, after the holidaze, going to ask some advice on getting some decent spell books, have no idea where mine could be. (Moved house in September, whatever I moved with us doesn't seem to have actually arrived ;o)

Blessed be,
Hwyl mawr (Welsh, the loose translation is 'big spirit'),
H.x.

Mountain Spell

Ingredients;...salt...five blue candles....a notebook

For this spell, you must learn to behave like the wind that goes over or around the mountain....If you choose to go over...make sure you have time to admire the view from the top

Sprinkle the salt to make a large pentacle on the floor...place a candle on each point...Sit in the middle of the star...close your eyes and breath... (seven counts in)..breath...(seven counts out)

breath in the golden light..
breath out...pain stiffness, anger, annoying thoughts...all your troubles.

Eventually you will begin to relax......

Imagine you are the Wind...A forceful powerful

Now visualise a huge mountain in your path, choose which way to go, feel the mountain pushing you up or sideways...enjoy the feeling!

Return to the problem and ask yourself..can you change the problem by finding alternatives to just ignoring it?

Do you need to rise above it? The clue will be in the path you choose, as the wind, to blow...

Mull over ideas for sorting out this issue as you go to sleep..

When you wake in the morning, the first thing you must do is write down your thoughts or dreams...you will find your solution..

The more you practice this .......the clearer the answers will be

good luck

Dear Oakapple, thank you very much for this, I like the idea of the mountain! Will let you know how it goes.

Cheers, too, Barafundle.

Hope you all have a lovely Yule & that I will *see* more of you on these pages,
all the best,

Hello Hopecat,

Welcome to Hp. Its great to have another poster here on our Wicca thread, it tends to be rather quiet. Looking forward to reading more of your posts. I am on my first year of celebrating the sabbats and enjoying every minute of it.

I was given a Witches Almanac for christmas and have tried to do something each day along the lines of what is written, fantastic, feel as if I have done this before somewhere..............

I saw your other post about the afterlife and look forward to reading any responses, my grandmother always used to say anyone who is frightened of death its not their time yet, when its your time there will be no fear.........

Better go, one of my resolutions this year was to only spend an hour every other day on computer.............finding that very difficult to stick to......

Moonflower xx
