Wishing everyone a happy solstice! 🙂

... or as me and my friends came up with last night:
Merry Mithras-mas! 😉

Bright blessings

Happy Solstice to you as well! In Wales they say 'Nadolig Llawen' which I like as it's a hangover from the Celtic days.... translates not to 'Merry Xmas' but 'Jolly Yule'!

Blessed be,
Hopecat.x.

Hello Hopecat 🙂 if I haven't already welcomed you then here goes....Welcome

I have been dipping in and out of the forums over the christmas period and am trying to catch up slowly with everyone!

Do you speak much welsh hopecat? My grandmother is welsh but sadly all of her welsh speaking family are now gone. My Mum and her sister understand welsh and will sometimes speak a little but very rarely. It is a shame as it is a lovely language.

I will try to remember 'Nadolig Llawen' - thanks for sharing that with us! I hope you enjoy making your way around the forums, we are a friendly bunch on here and you will meet lots of interesting people along your way.

Look forward to hearing more from you 🙂

Hi ,

Hope everyone enjoyed their Yule celebrations......I didnt log on much over the christmas as was so hectic with family gatherings........

We did a wonderful Yule ritual on the 21st and involved my twin nephews who are 10 and my little boy who is 2 and hubby of course, I found it on the internet and added my own little touches .......our house was like a magnet for people over the festive period.......it was wonderful full of visitors everyone enjoying themselves......I thank Wicca so much for this as I am sure the attraction was there due to us welcoming the light into our home, one of the very best christmases ever for me......

Now looking forward to Imbolc......and would you beleive it, i think I have found 2 friends to celebrate with, rather than roping poor ol hubby in again, which from what I am reading about Imbolc.....it should be celebrated as a sort of secret female ritual.

Looking forward to reading more from you all on here next year,

Blessings,

Moonflower xx
