Victoria was a goddess who was a personification of "Success and Victory . According to her legend she was the daughter of Styx And Pallas , she became the patroness of heroes,guiding them to greatness.

Revere'd by the Roman people she was given an alter in the "Senate"......This sacred monument became one of the most Important symbols of organised paganism in the "Roman Empire "

The alter was finally destroyed after many years of bitter dispute between the pagans and christians In the year 394 AD by Theododius 1
