Hi everone, its my birthday in September and my fiance wants to get me a book on paganism/ wicca. I already have loads of books and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Im wanting something thats a little more advanced than most of your books which all same to say the same thing for the first 80 pages, you know your typical threefold law, ritual tools and wiccan rede.
Maybe something on astral projection but i wudnt know what to get. I got a book out my local library a couple of years ago called animal magick and it was great but i havent seen it since unfortunately! Any recommendations

tap in 'astral projection ' on Google and see what comes up in all the different links, or tap in 'Pagan bookshops' and the world should be your oyster.
We are trying to keep the list on here fairly general, easy to obtain, and safe for younger members. Most experienced Witches do tend to be part of a Coven or if Solitary have maturity to guide them on their path. But newcomers especially if they are young need to be made aware of the dangers of the Craft and learn to protect themselves.
So some things on here will be elementary just to get people on their way safely

'The Witches Bible' is very comprehensive and includes astral projection (and much more!). It's by Janet & Stewart Farrah and is published by Phoenix: ISBN 0919345-92-1
Something a bit different is "Making Magick" by Edain McCoy, published by Llewellyn: ISBN 156718670-X. Its' great for all elelemtns of natural work including elemental, astral, talismans, tattwas, psychic self-defense and more.
