Hello there can anyone help me, I really need some examples of opening prayer for the spiritual circle I am in I get easily confused with which words to use for the best, I know you should just say what ever comes to you but a few examples on how to start off would be very much appriciated.
It's a bit late (never saw this forum until tonight!) but a good way to begin an opening prayer is 'Divine Spirit...
Think about your intent for the gathering beforehand - is it to communicate, to heal, to experiment - what? Then bring that into what you say. For example - Divine Spirit, we gather here tonight to ask for healing for those named in this circle. We ask that our healing guides be present and that all healing energies be directed for the highest good of all concerned. Amen
In short - state intent, ask for support, give thanks before and after and include anything else you feel guided to add. 🙂
