Any thoughts about this is terms of spiritual/psychic awareness?
"I have a permanent light in my physical vision which is a tiny white light surrounded by purple or indigo. I see this 24/7 with my eyes open or closed - especially if I look at a dark board or background (any ideas?). I have had my eyes checked out so that isn't an issue."
Who said it? What do they consider it to be for themselves? i.e. what is it that they are perceiving?
I know people will jump to the "Purple/Indigo is the chakra colour for the 3rd eye which would indicate the 3rd eye opening leading to greater psychic abilities, spritual awareness and/or intuition", but that may or may not be the case as it would be important, I think, to look at the person holistically, rather than just focus on one 'symptom'. As I know nothing else of this person, I wouldn't like to second guess.

It's for someone who I was speaking to... The individual mentioned his 'condition' in connection with a 'red light' (physical mediumship) thread.
I could suggest he 'speaks' to you directly if you think that would help?

I wouldn't claim to be an expert advisor in that area, though I'm familiar with a lot of different concepts from, what you may call, ancient wisdom to 'New Age'. I'm also not an expert when it comes to psychic abilities and certainly not mediumship, that's not my field. 😉
From a therapist point of view though, I would want to look at the whole person, not just a single symptom. Consider it a bit like someone coming to you and saying the Red Engine light is always on in their car. We could speculate all we like, but without looking at the condition of the whole car (and it's computer perhaps) there could be many suggestions of what's wrong and noone could say which is the accurate answer.
I sure you know what I mean. This person would be best seeking advice from someone in person who they choose and are comfortable with whether that's a medium, a homeopath, a reiki practitioner, hynotherapist or whatever.
