What are your traditions for this coming Yule?
We will burn our Yule log this Sunday to cleanse our home of all the bad events and luck from 2008. Then over Christmas will go to the forest nearby to find our Yule log for 2009, the new log will collect and absorb all the bad energy for the new year.

I will be dressing the oak log I retrieved from the sacred Oak tree that was removed from St Neots church roof on Oakapple day.....It will be dressed and burned on the Yule fire at Avebury, releasing old energies and repacing it with renewed power and revitalisation.
I'll also be making a wheel of evergreens using the traditional Willow, Yew, Holly, Pine, Ivy and Mistletoe. On to this we will place our wishes for the future and it will be thrown into the sea.
