Hello Friends,
I am not sure where to post this thread, but since it involves Islam, I thought it might be pertinent here.
I live close to Hounslow, and I have noticed over many months, that stickers have appeared on lamp-posts and elsewhere asking, 'Who Killed Farhad Usmanov?' I was intrigued enough to find out more about this person. Apparently, he was the son of a Tashkent Imam who was arrested for possessing a leaflet from an Islamic group, which the Uzbekistan ruling party considered inflammatory. He died in custody.
Has anyone else heard of him? I am merely interested, and am not looking to start a religio/political debate on whether this man was right or wrong for allegedly being a member of an Islamic political group.
Love,
Patsy.
