The Druze are an interesting spin off from Islam, they embrace Plato, Gnostic Christianity, Greek Philosophy.

Oh I am overjoyed it is being arranged for me to go a Druze village and meet with the elders, it seems they are also important participants in the peace process in the Holy Land.

We asked the Druze many questions and it was not easy because a friend had to translate. His joy was to tell us about the biblical untruths, to serve us with coffee, orange juice and make us welcome.
They truly live in their hearts, they believe that Jesus was never killed on the cross, the elder responded that one cannot kill a Messiah phyisically. He said a man had been put in his place.
We asked him when the Druze were going to reveal all that they knew and he said the time is coming now. He also confirmed like all other indigenous peoples around the world that we are in the end times now. It was also made clear to us that there is only about 50 Druze around the world that share their ultimate spiritual truths. However, from the clues he gave us there did not seem a whole lot of difference between what we know now.
Translation was difficult because he did not understand words like 'initiation' or the context.
I feel sure we will meet again on the next visit.
