While doing some research today, I came across this really interesting site.
I find it fascinating to see the time-scale of all the main religions and philosophies of the world.
They start with the ancient Eygptian writings from BC 4500

Hi Principled,
This appears to be a Jewish site. Not surprisingly it is good for research on Judaism.
However, the dates that it cites for Sanatana Dharma (usually but incorrectly called Hinduism) appear to contain significant errors.

RE: Important dates in the History of Religion
Hi Prashna,
Funny, but none of my subscriptions to the religions pages or philosophy seem to be working - hence no immediate reply.
Why don't you post some corrections, both here and also to the site administrator?
I also think that often, with these ancient religions dates can vary between one set of academics and another, between one book and another.
